Grasmere is a small village, to give you an idea of scale, the distance between the Swan Lane junction and the Stock Lane junction is approximately 3/4 of a mile or 1.206 km.

Directions, visitors approaching from the South should leave the M6 at junction 36 for the A590 continuing along that road until it joins the A591 by-passing Kendal, keep on the A591 passing Windermere and travelling through Ambleside and onto Grasmere then using the above map to find Titteringdales.

Visitors approaching from the North should leave the M6 at junction 40 and join the A66 to Keswick. On the outskirts of Keswick join the A591 to Grasmere taking the first right onto Pye Lane and then to Titteringdales.
